Offering Rustic Italian Cuisine, Taverna Restaurant is located at 2000 Village Road in Kapalua Resort.

KAPALUA – Taverna Restaurant in Kapalua Resort announced that it’s opening for lunch and weekend brunch starting Thursday, Nov. 15.

Managing Partner Chris Kaiwi explained, “Taverna is excited to offer our Monday to Friday lunch service and Saturday and Sunday brunch service as we partner with Troon Golf & Tennis with some of their exciting changes to our location. The Kapalua Bay Golf Course will be relocating their entire Golf Operations to the Village Center Building.

“Taverna has been offering our Rustic Italian Cuisines for the past two-and-a-half years for dinner only, but now that the Kapalua Bay Golf Operations will be operating out of our same building, we believe that our partnership to provide a quality lunch and weekend brunch period to offer their golfers, locals and visitors alike makes sense.”

Chef/Partner Roger Stettler has created an Italian-inspired lunch menu. Keeping true to Taverna’s Rustic Cuisine, the menu will definitely have the taste of Italy but certainly lunch favorites.

Taverna’s popular dishes include their signature Lasagna, Muffuleta Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Panini and Chef’s CPB (Cow Pig Bun) House Burger.

“Another menu item that will certainly be a favorite for the ladies would be the Seafood Cobb Salad – lots of crab, lobster, shrimp, avocado and cucumbers,” Kaiwi added.

Also new at Taverna is the daily Happy Hour. From 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., there is a limited bar food menu along with attractive beverage pricing.

For the holiday season, Taverna will offer a Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner with Pumpkin Cheesecake for $37 for adults and $19 for keiki under 12.
