Fisher to lead workshop on leases and service contracts
KIHEI – The workshop “Pathways to Profits: Leases and Service Contracts” will be presented by Honolulu attorney Duane R. Fisher on Friday, July 27, at the Maui Research & Technology Center in Kihei from 10 a.m. to noon for a fee of $25.
The workshop is geared for small- and medium-sized business owners who want to learn more about leases before signing one; common mistakes with leases and how to avoid them; service contracts used by many contractors, freelancers and consultants; why service contracts are important to businesses; and key issues owners should focus on when creating or reviewing a service contract.
Fisher has negotiated, drafted, reviewed and analyzed literally thousands of contracts for businesses of all sizes. Over the course of his 25-year legal career, he has worked with business owners and executive teams, advising them with respect to negotiating and creating fair and appropriate contracts for each client circumstance.
He is a founding director of the law firm of Starn O’Toole Marcus & Fisher, A law corporation, and concentrates his practice in the areas of complex real estate and business transactions. He also provides general business advice for companies and individuals with interests in Hawaii.
