Core Four Business Planning Class slated in Lahaina
WAILUKU – Maui Economic Opportunity’s Business Development Center is bringing its Core Four Business Planning Class to the West Side of Maui in July.
This 27-hour course focuses on the fundamentals of writing an accurate and informational business plan for a startup or an existing business. The course will take the entrepreneur through the steps needed to identify and validate that the business has a real chance for success in today’s competitive marketplace.
Entrepreneurs are providing real-time information on what you need to know to start, operate and grow a successful business in Maui County from current and past small business owners.
BDC’s Core Four Business Planning Class will be held at the University of Hawaii Lahaina Education Center at 60 Kenui St. on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. starting July 2 and running through Aug 1.
The course fee is $300; scholarships are available to cover all or part of the course tuition.
Upon course completion, graduation will be held with the aspiring entrepreneurs receiving one-on-one guidance from local commercial bankers from First Hawaiian Bank, Bank of Hawaii, Central Pacific Bank, and Hawaii USA FCU. The students’ business plans and ideas will be reviewed and discussed with suggestions and guidance for launching a successful business. The graduating students will receive a Certificate of Achievement.
