West Maui residents have a new option for bottled water
LAHAINA – Tropic Water has opened its second retail water store in Lahaina. The new store is conveniently located just off of Honoapiilani Highway in the West Maui Center.
The focal point of this store is a 13-foot stainless steel self-serve bottled water fill table with eight self-serve filling stations.
The Tropic Water “fill your own” concept enables customers to save money while being more environmentally friendly than if they had purchased single-use bottled water.
Customers can purchase prepaid water cards that are good for 100 gallons of Ultra Pure Tropic Water for only $40 (40 cents a gallon).
The original Tropic Water on Luakini Street will remain open during 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. business hours, while the new location will have expanded hours of Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In addition to self-serve fill stations and 24-hour vending machines, Tropic Water also delivers bottled water to residential and commercial customers on the West Side, South Maui, Central Maui and Upcountry.
Tropic Water will have a grand opening celebration on Saturday, March 24, at the 910 Honoapiilani Highway location. The first 20 people to fill a five-gallon bottle on Saturday will receive a coupon for 25 free gallons of Ultra Pure Tropic Water to be used on a later visit.
Customers will also have a chance to win gift certificates for 100 gallons of free water and an assortment of different prizes. Complimentary snacks will also be served throughout the day.
