LAHAINA – On Dec. 5, the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset invites the public to a talk by Sara Routley and Brandir Tima with the Maui Department of Health.

Routley and Tima’s work focuses on maintaining and improving the health of the Maui community. This presentation will review the biology of rat lungworm disease, steps to protect yourself from the disease, how to recognize systems and what you can do to help.

The Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset’s community speaker series takes place during club meetings, which are held on the first and third Tuesday of the month at the Ocean Terrace Restaurant, Royal Lahaina Resort, Kaanapali, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
