Bank of Hawaii Foundation announces 2017 Mike Lyons Maui Community Award recipients
HONOLULU – The Maui Farm, Maui Memorial Medical Center Foundation and Maui Economic Development Board are the recipients of this year’s Bank of Hawaii Foundation Mike Lyons Maui Community Award.
The award recognizes outstanding leadership of non-profits providing benefits for residents of Maui County, especially for low- to moderate-income individuals and families. The recipients are awarded $10,000 each.
This is the 14th annual Bank of Hawaii Foundation Mike Lyons Maui Community Award presentation, which has distributed $260,000 to 29 nonprofit recipients since its inception in 2004.
The award was named after the late, retired Bank of Hawaii Senior Vice President and Maui District Manager Michael H. Lyons II, who served as a role model for community service.
