Hessel

LAHAINA – Dr. Melissa Hessel recently joined Maui Medical Group’s Pediatric Department. She practices at the Lahaina Clinic.

Hessel came to Lahaina from Wisconsin, where she practiced office- and hospital-based pediatrics for the past 16 years.

Dr. Hessel attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she received her bachelor’s degree and attended Medical School at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Hessel is a licensed, board-certified pediatrician in the State of Hawaii and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

She sees patients from newborn to 18 years old and enjoys all aspects of pediatric medicine.

When Dr. Hessel is not working, she loves cooking, gardening, reading and doing Zumba.

“Practicing in Maui has always been a dream for me, and I hope to serve the pediatric population of Maui with quality medical care for many more years to come,” she said. n
