KIHEI – Small business enthusiast and social media marketer Danielle Miller last week announced the tenth edition of Miller Media Mastermind, a marketing program that combines the support of a business networking group with the training of a college course.

Up to 12 business owners will be accepted into the program that starts on Sept. 28. Register today at mmmsocialmedia.com/mastermind.

The eight-week training program is designed to help Maui’s growing population of business owners spread the word about their products and services.

Miller, a professional social media marketer and EdVenture Maui instructor at the University of Hawaii Maui College, will cover social media strategies for Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest, as well as basic search engine optimization and how to set up an e-mail list.

New this session, classes will be held at the Maui Research and Technology Park in Kihei. The facility allows for more seating and ample parking.

“I believe that everyone can benefit from this class,” explained Cherise Vonae Shulman of The Perfect Wedding.

“Danielle has a way of making everyone feel at ease and gears her examples to the businesses of the students, making it immediately more accessible and understandable. She is overflowing with information, ideas and energy.”

Weekly meetings are a combination of hands-on marketing training and interactive workshops. The fall meetings will be held in Kihei on Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m. from Sept. 28 through Nov. 16.

This training is ideal for business owners and social media managers.

“I’ve always considered myself to be fairly savvy with social marketing, but the Mastermind series has been absolutely eye-opening,” shared Amanda Furgiuele, owner of Body in Balance & The Pole Room in Lahaina.
