LAHAINA – The Wishing Well for Maui Students, the nonprofit started ten years ago to help Maui County public school teachers and students with much-needed teaching aides and school supplies, extended a heartfelt mahalo to the Lahainaluna High School Foundation for its recent donation of $1,000.

The generous donation has been directed to benefit the West Maui public schools.

Jill Kaiser, school coordinator for Lahaina Intermediate and Princess Nahi’ena’ena Elementary School, made the request for assistance in purchasing needed supplies for West Maui teachers and students unable to do so on their own.

The Wishing Well and the Lahainaluna High School Foundation share the belief that a community benefits from its people and resources.

The support the organizations are able to provide to students at the elementary and middle school level will assure their entry, as well as preparation, going into Lahainaluna High School in the coming years.

The Wishing Well also thanked Williams and Associates of Maui for the large donations that culminated their efforts on the same day.

To make a donation through Pay Pal, go to the website ILoveMauiSchools.com. School supplies can always be dropped off at the Realtors Association of Maui at 441 Ala Makani Place in Kahului.
