Grants workshops slated
WAILUKU – The County of Maui Mayor’s Office of Economic Development (OED) will hold two free workshop sessions on OED grant funding for the 2018 fiscal year.
The first session will take place on Tuesday, June 20, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Haynes Meeting Room.
The second workshop will be held on Thursday, June 22, from 9 to 11 a.m. in the MACC’s Higashi Meeting Room.
“This is a perfect opportunity to learn all about OED funding, how to apply and what criteria we consider when making funding decisions,” said Teena Rasmussen, OED director. “We urge our current grantees to attend, as well as any organization who might like to seek future OED funding.”
Attendees will receive an application packet for Fiscal Year 2018 and complete step-by-step training on the application process. OED staff will also answer any questions attendees might have. Topics to be covered include the types of projects and programs that are applicable for OED funding and how to create performance metrics.
