Stack

LAHAINA – Soroptimist International of West Maui (SIWM) announced the induction of new member Keri Stack to its club.

Stack grew up in Washington State and now splits her time between Maui and Seattle. Her volunteer history includes working with the Social Ventures Partnership and serving as a board member for the Gage Academy of Art in Seattle.

Stack retired from Microsoft, where she managed an interdisciplinary group of writers, editors and designers. She is now an artist working in oils, colored pencil and graphite, creating contemporary still life works.

Stack has always been interested in women’s issues and is happy to be a part of the West Maui Soroptimists. She looks forward to working with the chapter to empower women and girls.

SIWM is part of a global volunteer movement working together to transform the lives of women and girls. There are approximately 80,000 club members in 130 countries and territories working at the local level to educate, empower and enable opportunities for women and girls.

The West Maui group prides itself on being a “no guilt” club – meaning that members understand everyone is busy and has hectic schedules, and every moment is precious. They welcome participation at any level. Part-time resident? Works for SIWM! It’s all about friendship, fellowship and being with like-minded women.

If you are interested in learning more about the West Maui club, contact President Julie Meszaros at (707) 738-3111. The club meets twice a month at local restaurants and would love for you to join them.
