LAHAINA – The West Maui Professionals chapter of Business Networking International (BNI), the world’s largest referral organization, has new leadership and a new opportunity for local businesses to build relationships.

The new leadership team of President Amanda Furgiuele of Body in Balance and The Pole Room, Vice President Jessica Baker of Coldwell Banker Island Properties, and Secretary/Treasurer Kristen Varsames of Maui Handywoman and Renovations is hosting a visitor extravaganza for local business owners on Wednesday, April 5, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Pi Artisan Pizzeria in Lahaina.

This event will spotlight an amazing opportunity for local businesses to connect and grow each other’s clientele.

BNI Area Director Consultant Lynn Howard and Executive Director Joann Seery will be the featured speakers and will share the secrets to growing your business through referral marketing.

The mission of BNI is to help members increase their business through a structured, positive, professional “word of mouth” referral marketing program that enables them to develop long-term, meaningful relationships with quality business professionals. Only one person per professional classification is permitted into each local chapter so that there isn’t internal competition.

Admission is $15 per person and includes lunch. The event will feature plenty of opportunities to network with representatives of local businesses.

Advanced registration is required to attend by e-mailing Furgiuele at bodybalancemaui@ gmail.com. Attendees are encouraged to bring at least 50-100 extra business cards.
