LAHAINA – On Tuesday, March 21, Lois Reiswig, president of Maui Arts League, will speak at the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset’s evening meeting.

Maui Arts League is a nonprofit, volunteer organization that showcases visual fine arts. The league sponsors the annual Maui Plein Air Painting Invitational, a weeklong art event held in February.

Throughout the week, more than 175 paintings are produced and over 2,000 guests attend.

Reiswig will discuss the activities of Maui Arts League, including a future project to build a visual fine arts museum in West Maui.

The Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset’s community speaker series takes place during club meetings, which are held on the first, third and fifth Tuesday of the month at the Royal Ocean Terrace Restaurant, Royal Lahaina Resort, Kaanapali.

Meetings run from 5 to 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
