Westin Nanea Ocean Villas names Chris Rabang general manager
KAANAPALI – The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas, which will be Maui’s newest resort when it opens in April 2017, announced that Chris Rabang has been appointed its general manager.
In this role, Rabang will oversee resort operations, strategic planning and owner relations. He will also work alongside the resort’s Board of Directors and the leadership team at the resort’s parent company, Vistana Signature Experiences.

“His innovative leadership, strong resort experience and understanding of the Hawaiian culture make him the ideal choice for this position.”
Rabang most recently served as opening complex general manager for The Sheraton Samoa Aggie Grey’s Resort and The Sheraton Samoa Aggie Grey’s Hotel & Bungalows.
Prior to that, he was director of room operations at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa.
Other positions he has held include hotel manager at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, as well as multiple senior leadership roles at The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas, including hotel manager. During his time at The Westin Kaanapali, Rabang opened the north side of the 1,021-villa resort.
Born in Oahu and raised in Maui, Rabang earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Santa Clara University.
