Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset inducts new member
LAHAINA – The Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset has welcomed Jay Jayswal as its newest member.
Born and raised in India, Jayswal came to the United States at the age of 20 for postgraduate studies and became an American citizen in 1976, the bicentennial year.
Now retired, Jayswal worked as a CPA for over three decades and established his own accounting firm in 1979 in East Bay, California, with a specialization in tax planning, consultation and preparation as well as management consulting.
He and his wife, Vicki, moved to Maui in March 2016 to spend time with their two sons, daughter-in-law, and soon to be two-year-old grandson, Romeo.
Jayswal was inducted by Rotary District 5000 Youth Service Chair and Sergeant-at-Arms Joanne Laird. Melissa Crawley served as Jayswal’s membership sponsor.
The Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset is a volunteer service organization of community leaders. The club meets on the first, third and fifth Tuesday of each month at the Royal Lahaina Resort in Kaanapali. Guests are welcome.
