KW Island Living merges with Whalers Realty Inc.
WEST MAUI – KW Island Living, a Keller Williams Realty Franchise, on Friday announced that its merger with Whalers Realty Inc. is officially complete.
The West Side offices will operate under the KW Island Living brand and operate out of Whalers Village, Suite A-3, and the Kaanapali Fairway Shops.
“We are thrilled that two of Maui’s prominent and respected real estate players have come together into one,” said Lisa Teichner, principal broker and team leader of KW Island Living.
“We’re confident that this merger will have a positive impact on the agents and as well as the buyers and sellers we serve in the West Side areas and island-wide.”
The merger is being led by Teichner and KW Island Living Operating Principal Colette Ching. The combined office will be led by Teichner with Dean Otto (formerly with Sakamoto Properties) coming aboard as the West Side broker in charge and director of the newly launching Portfolio Luxury Division.
“The economic benefits of the merger give the new office a huge strategic advantage in the marketplace, island- and state-wide,” said Bob Cartwright, owner of Whalers Realty Inc.
“We’re excited about implementing the Keller Williams business model, which offers world-class training, strong values and a culture that focuses on results through people.”
