Ritz-Carlton hosts free presentations on history
KAPALUA – “A Sense of Place,” an honest look into Hawaii’s history from 1778 to the present through the eyes and lens of Dr. Elizabeth Kapu’uwailani Lindsey’s award-winning film “Then There Were None,” is held Fridays at 10 a.m. in The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua’s Hotel Theater.
Attendees are invited to get involved in a discussion on how to move Hawaii into the future while paying tribute to the past.
A short walk to the borders of the Honokahua Preservation Site will focus on its significance in terms of the Hawaiian renaissance and events that set many precedents and laws into action.
The event is free to the community and visitors.
