Cadman

LAHAINA – On Tuesday, Sept. 20, the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset invites the public to a talk by John Cadman, founder of Maui Breadfruit Company.

Cadman will discuss the importance of restoring breadfruit as a major food crop in the Hawaiian Islands as well as the current projects underway at Maui Breadfruit Company. The company was established in March 2013, and its breadfruit products have won numerous food industry awards.

The club’s community speaker series takes place during club meetings, which are held on the first, third and fifth Tuesday of the month at the Royal Ocean Terrace Restaurant at the Royal Lahaina Resort in Kaanapali from 5 to 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
