Kapalua Golf will offer complimentary golf Sept. 3-5 on both courses for retired, active and disabled military.

KAPALUA – Kapalua Golf Courses will be hosting a few events to honor military friends during the month of September.

Kapalua Golf will offer complimentary golf Sept. 3-5 on both courses for retired, active and disabled military. Free golf is available with proper documentation during the 11 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. time frame. Booking can be made four days prior.

A par three contest will be held on the Bay Course on Friday, Sept. 23, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost to participate is $10 and will occur on designated par three holes of the staff’s choice. For each $10, players get one swing to try to hit the green. If players hit the green, they will receive a box of Callaway balls. If they miss the green, they receive a voucher good for 15-20 percent off in the golf shop. Only paid golfers can participate.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Folds of Honor, which provides post-secondary educational scholarships for children and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled while serving the country. To date, more than 5,000 scholarships have been awarded by the Folds of Honor Foundation.
