KIHEI – Maui Economic Development Board is now accepting online reservations at www.medb.org for its annual Ke Alahele Education Fund Dinner & Auction on Saturday, Aug. 20, at The Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui.
Guests will enjoy an exciting lineup of activities: the popular Apples for Education Auctions; the “Family Feud, the STEM edition” game; and presentation of this year’s Senator Daniel K. Inouye Innovation Award winner, which honors the legacy of the late U.S. senator.
This year’s Distinguished Educators – Lt. Gov. Shan Tsutsui and his wife, Lyndelle; and Mayor Alan Arakawa – will also join the festivities.
The reception and silent auction begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by dinner and a live auction at 6 p.m.
Proceeds will support MEDB’s continuing efforts to advance science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education in Maui County and offer students access to the teaching tools and experiences that will prepare them for STEM careers.
Various donor opportunities are available. Individual seats are $175. For reservations and information, visit www.medb.org or call 875-2300.
