KAANAPALI – In celebration of its new kama’aina wedding rates launched in January, Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa is hosting a wedding expo on Saturday, March 5, from 4 to 6 p.m. for local engaged couples to view the property’s array of ceremony and reception venues and network with Maui wedding vendors.

Set on 23 oceanfront acres, the resort features stunning spaces for every occasion, from beachside ceremonies to receptions on the resort’s 12,000-square-foot Ocean Lawn.

During the expo in the resort’s Coral Reef Room, couples will have the opportunity to tour Sheraton Maui’s wedding spaces, including Moana Lawn and Moana Lounge, Ocean Lawn, Maui Ballroom and Black Rock Lawn. Guests will view ceremony and reception set-ups from some of Maui’s top wedding vendors, sample pupus from Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa’s wedding menus, and meet fellow engaged couples.

“Many couples get engaged over the holidays and are now in the initial wedding planning stages. We wanted to provide local couples with a special opportunity to view Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa’s venues and network with a lineup of Maui’s top wedding vendors,” said Mike Masterson, director of sales and marketing for the resort. “We look forward to working with locals to bring their unique wedding vision to life.”

One lucky couple in attendance will win a $5,000 discount on a Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa wedding priced at $20,000 or more.

Vendors showcasing at the resort’s expo include All Access Weddings, All Time Media, Asa Flowers, Casafras Photography, Creative Island Visions, Dellables Wedding Design & Florals, Envisions Creative Event Production, Floral Designs Maui, KCK Entertainment, Hawaiian Style Event Rentals, PhotoHawaii Inc., Plush Beauty Lounge and The Spa at Black Rock.

The event is free and open to Hawaii couples interested in celebrating their wedding at Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa. Light pupus, beer and wine will be served.
