Sheraton Maui promotes Sharon Soriano
KAANAPALI – The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa recently promoted Sharon Soriano to manager of restaurants and bars.
In this role, Soriano will be an integral part of the food and beverage team, driving the overall guest experience at the property’s poolside outlets Cliff Dive Grill and Mai Tai Bar, and working alongside Black Rock Kitchen General Manager Ener Cruz to operate Black Rock Lounge, a late-night weekend destination.
“Sharon has been a great asset to our team at the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa,” said Tetsuji Yamazaki, general manager.
“Her strong leadership skills will continue to drive success with the food and beverage team to exceed our guests’ expectations.”
Soriano has worked with Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa since 2012, serving in a number of roles, including host-help, cashier and wait-help.
She has also been working as shift supervisor and assistant manager at the Kahului Airport food and beverage outlets.
