“Becoming a Best-Selling Author: Leveraging the World’s Greatest Marketing Secret by Writing, Publishing and Promoting Your Book to Better Market Your Business” with instructor Patrick Snow will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 15, from noon to 2 p.m.

Are you looking for a better way to market your business? Do you have a burning desire to become a best-selling author? Attend this seminar and learn how to make your publishing and business goals come true.

If you want to stand out from your competition, strengthen your credentials and get free publicity, writing and publishing a book is your best marketing strategy, according to Snow.

International best-selling author Snow will cover the three publishing options, top five requirements for becoming a best-selling author and 18 mistakes to avoid. Attendees will also learn how to monetize their passion and even better market their business, or start a new business, using a book as a platform. Come early and stay late for his Q&A session that will answer all questions on your book project.

“Get the Facts About Reverse Mortgages” with instructor Mel Ito will be held on Thursday, Sept. 10, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

A reverse mortgage could be a nice addition to an already sound financial plan. According to Ito, the old clich “get the facts” has never been more appropriate when considering a reverse mortgage.

A program that began in 1989 has evolved into a sound option for those who are age 62 or older and live in their home as a primary residence. Common false rumors and myths about reverse mortgages will be addressed. Sample illustrations and case studies will be used to explain the various programs and options.

“Rock Your Holidays with Tried and True Marketing Strategies” with instructor Mckenna Hallett will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 22, from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Yep! It’s that time already! When this workshop takes place on Sept. 22, it will be less than ten weeks until Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday! Selling “momentum” must start NOW!

Some people have already started putting lists together and mapping out their purchases. You want to be on their lists, right? What do you plan to promote, and how do you plan to promote it? Why should they buy from you instead of your competition?

Attendees will leave with a multitude of ideas and practical advice to put to work immediately, including everything needed to have a free shopping cart up-and-running in a matter of hours using the free handouts.

“Setting Up Facebook for Business” with instructor Nicole Fisher will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from noon to 1:15 p.m., followed by questions until 1:30 p.m.

By creating a great Facebook page, you’re building a mini-website with all of your online connections in one place.

In this workshop, learn how to connect with past clients, grow your mailing list, connect your website or sale pages, or grow your online business.

“QuickBooks for Small Business” with instructor Richard Kehoe is set for Thursday, Sept. 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. The cost is $45.

Learn to set up your company’s QuickBooks in a small class setting with personalized tutoring. This class for new users will teach you how to record sales, receive payments, prepare invoices and balance your checkbook.
