Edible Hawaiian Islands and Leoda’s to present fourth annual #PieTweetup

LAHAINA – Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 18, and BYO pie to Kumu Farms in celebration of the fourth annual #PieTweetup on Maui.

Open to the public, this free event aims to get Maui residents into the kitchen and supporting local farmers’ markets and businesses.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their family and a pie, sweet or savory, made with as many local ingredients as possible (no dairy or cream pies, please).

Leoda’s Kitchen and Pie Shop will provide pies for sampling as well, so come sample all of the pies and meet some new friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The first 25 people to arrive will also receive a “goodie bag.”

Not feeling culinarily gifted? Just join the group and bring something to share. Eco-friendly plates, forks and water will be provided; bring your own reusable dining accessories in an effort to help minimize waste.
