LAHAINA – Pi Artisan Pizzeria last week announced Summer Happenings – a series of events, special menu items and performances to celebrate summer with guests, family and friends.

Pi’s Back Yard Brunch will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Sunday, featuring live local entertainment with Welo & Kekai playing classic Hawaiian music and hula performances.

Pi’s culinary team has designed some really tasty oven-to-table brunch offerings, including Oven Frittatas, Italian Sausage Rolls, Egg & Chorizo Paninis, Breakfast Pi’s and weekly barbecue specials.

The mixologist boys at Pi have created a Bloody Mary Bar with 12 fresh toppings and three uniquely flavored, handmade mixes. Other brunch drink specials include flavored mimosas, screwdrivers and a brunch handcrafted cocktail, Pi Magic.

Pi is proud to partner up with Make A Wish Foundation Hawaii to support this year’s hard work to grant 12 Maui keiki their wishes. These brave kids range in age from 4 to 17, and their wishes include trips to Disneyland, Legoland and London. One wish is for a playground and bike loop in the backyard.

Donations will be accepted at Pi throughout the summer, and the staff will participate in dishes for wishes every Sunday with the purchase of Pi BBQ specials.

Pi Late Night has a summer campaign, “It’s Your Civic Duty To Late night @ Pi,” on Friday and Saturday nights from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. This industry late night at Pi features handcrafted cocktail specials and Kona Brewing Company beers on tap.

The kitchen is open with a full menu until midnight with half off all classic Pi’s. When you get off work on the weekends, come eat, drink and enjoy live local entertainment with Garrett Probst on Friday and Deejay Lobstah on Saturday night.

The 2015 Pi Summer Music Series is designed to help support local entertainers by offering an oceanfront venue with afternoon and sunset views at Pi. To support this program, go to http://bit.ly/pi808music and receive rewards, including drinks, dinners and preferred reserved tables during specialty events and performances.

Pi announced that it will add gluten-free Pi’s to its menu in the month of June, based on many requests from guests. The restaurant has added a survey form to help guests share ideas with the staff.

Also in June, the Pi + Club loyalty program will be launched; come into Pi and fill out the application to join. Members are eligible to receive rewards and be part of the restaurant’s special promotions and activities with preferred status.
