Duke’s honors staff at Princess Nahienaena Elementary School
KAANAPALI – Duke’s Beach House recently recognized Rosalinda Gando of Princess Nahienaena Elementary School as its “Educator of the Month” for February.
Gando was selected by her peers for her professionalism and great support to all students.
Gando, an educational assistant (EA), will celebrate her retirement this spring after 20 years of dedicated service to Princess Nahienaena’s Special Education Department and the fourth grade.
The school staff praised her willingness, energy and organizational abilities to help both students and teachers throughout her career.
“We are proud to honor the hard work and success of the Princess Nahienaena Elementary School staff,” said John Brans, Duke’s Beach House safety manager.
“The Duke’s Beach House Legacy of Aloha Program has provided us with the great opportunity to partner with this educational staff on multiple projects throughout the year and recognize educators that go above and beyond for their students.”
Gando was presented with an engraved koa box and a $100 gift certificate to Duke’s Beach House.
