Duke’s Beach House donates $1,910 to Hawaii Agricultural Foundation
KAANAPALI – Duke’s Beach House presented the Hawaii Agricultural Foundation with a donation of $1,910 at a recent Henry Kapono performance.
Localicious Maui is a program that was created to provide support and scholarships to the next generation of farmers and ranchers on Maui.
A portion of the proceeds from the Duke’s Beach House Farm Salad during the months of October, November and December were donated to this program to support Maui agriculture.
“We are happy to donate to this great cause and support the local farmers through the Localicious Maui Program,” said John Brans, Duke’s Beach House safety manager.
“Throughout the year, Duke’s is involved with different organizations on Maui, which lets us give back to the people in our community.”
Throughout 2015, Duke’s Beach House will donate a portion of the proceeds on a featured salad, made with Maui grown produce, to Localicious Maui.
The featured salad will be denoted by the Growing Future Farmers logo on the menu. For more information, call 662-2900 or visit www.dukesmaui.com.
