Subway open at Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center

By Staff | Jan 15, 2015

KAHULUI – Queen Ka’ahumanu Center, Hawaii’s largest shopping center outside of Oahu, announced the grand opening of Subway, one of the fastest growing franchises in the world.

Located in the Queen’s Market food court, the restaurant opened on Tuesday, Jan. 13.

The newly opened branch features Subway’s all-new signature Metro decor and made-to-order foot-long and six-inch submarine sandwiches, which are served on a variety of gourmet breads that are baked fresh in each restaurant throughout the day.

In addition to sandwiches, the new restaurant also offers a variety of salads, flatbreads, breakfast selections, soups and cookies.

“Our franchise has developed a reputation for serving high-quality food that is a healthful alternative to traditionally fast food,” said Mark Roden, the franchisee with Bret Saalsaa.

“We are excited to bring new delicious, fresh product to people in the Queen Ka’ahumanu Center.”

Roden and Saalsaa collectively own nearly 90 Subway locations, including five on Maui.

The new Subway is open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For more information, call 877-3369, visit QueenKaahumanuCenter.com or follow @QueenKCenter on Twitter.
