Management Consultants Hawaii announces two appointments

LAHAINA – The Lahaina-based association management company Management Consultants Hawaii last week announced two appointments.

Neil Thomas was named to the position of community association manager.

Thomas has been involved in community association management for over 21 years and has been a member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) since 1995.

He received the AMS (Association Management Specialist) designation in 1996 and was awarded the PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager) designation in May 2001.

Thomas served as a member of the Education Committee for the Hawaii State Chapter of CAI from 1998-2000 and also the Education Committee of the Washington Metropolitan Chapter in 2007-08. He is a member of the Condominium Council of Maui and currently serves as the its board secretary.

Al Andrews was appointed to the position of customer development and community association manager. He has over 30 years of related experience in the industry.

A member of CAI-Hawaii’s Founding Member Group, he served on its board as vice president.

Andrews is a current board member with the Condominium Council of Maui and is its immediate past president and seminar chair.

He has served in most officer positions on several condominium boards, including Kuliouou Kai’s for over 20 years.
