Robert Wintner to speak at ‘An Ocean that Keeps On Giving’

Robert Wintner will speak at the meeting.
WAILEA – A healthy coral reef system is relevant to the health of the island economy and your Maui business, according to the Maui Business Brainstormers (MBB).
The political will to protect the coral reef system depends on Maui businesses and individuals. Robert “Snorkel Bob” Wintner will explain what is happening and why you are crucial in a MBB town hall-style meeting, “An Ocean that Keeps On Giving,” on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the Fairmont Kea Lani from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Wintner will also share some images and entertain the audience with his true stories. He is the executive director of The Snorkel Bob Foundation and owner of the largest reef outfitter and the only snorkel and fin manufacturing company in Hawaii.
Wintner is also the author of several fiction and nonfiction books about Hawaii marine life, and an active member of Hawaii’s conservation community.
MBB invites everyone to attend this dynamic presentation. Admission is $10 for MBB members with online registration. Non-members will pay $20, but MBB membership is free. Admission includes light pupus and complimentary self-parking.
