Rotary golf tournament to support youth programs
KAANAPALI – The Rotary Club of Lahaina’s second annual Golf Tournament will be held at the Kaanapali Kai Golf Course on Saturday, Oct. 25. The scramble format contest will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
Proceeds will fund scholarships for Maui County students and local youth programs, including the Lahaina Complex After School Tutor Project.
Participants have the chance to win $10,000 for a hole-in-one on all par three holes, as well as cash prizes for tee shots on the green on all par threes.
There will be exciting prizes for the top 15 teams. All who register and play in the tournament have the chance to win door prizes and can enjoy the after party at Paradise Grill Kaanapali with delicious food and beverages.
The club looks forward to repeating the success of its fundraising golf tournament via its nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the Lahaina Rotary Youth Foundation Inc. (EIN #99-0285003). Financial donations are tax-deductible.
Last year’s tournament sold out early. To assure an enjoyable experience for all, play will be limited to the first 36 teams of four that register and pay prior to the Oct. 26 deadline.
