The Outlets of Maui announces new West Maui shopping shuttle
LAHAINA – The Outlets of Maui announced a brand new West Maui shuttle service between Kaanapali and Lahaina that can save shoppers money and spare them the hassle of driving.
Operated by the islands’ largest tour and transportation provider, Roberts Hawaii, The Outlets of Maui Shuttle offers daily service from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The shuttle to and from The Outlets of Maui will make hourly stops at seven resort properties in Kaanapali as well as Lahaina Harbor.
“Our guests and customer service are important to us, and this provides convenient transportation from West Maui to the world’s only oceanfront outlet shopping center in a historic island destination,” said Mona Abadir, principal for The Outlets of Maui.
“And, as we continue to be ever more environmentally conscious, the shuttle provides a great option that can keep more cars off the road for a more sustainable Maui.”
The Outlets of Maui Shuttle costs $2 per person per ride; it’s free for children four years old or younger.
All riders will receive a complimentary Value Coupon Book containing special offers and discounts at The Outlets of Maui retailers.
“Shuttles are a successful and welcome amenity in many resort areas, and we’re very pleased to be able to operate the first-ever daily shuttle service for West Maui,” said Percy Higashi, president and COO of Roberts Hawaii.
“It’s a great convenience for Kaanapali guests, who can enjoy the ease and comfort of taking an air-conditioned shuttle to enjoy a day of shopping.”
Located on Front Street in the former Lahaina Center, The Outlets of Maui is Hawaii’s newest outlet center and the only one on Maui. Newly opening in November 2013, the center encompasses more than two dozen retailers and restaurants, including such globally renowned brands as Adidas, Banana Republic, Calvin Klein, Coach, Gap, Guess, Hard Rock Caf, Lucky Brand, Michael Kors, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Tommy Hilfiger.
