LAHAINA – Duke’s Beach House, through its Legacy of Aloha program, presented Princess Nahi’ena’ena Elementary School with a donation of $1,908 during a recent Henry Kapono performance.

The donation was made possible by Duke’s giving a portion of the proceeds from its Tasting Menu during the months of October, November and December, as well as the proceeds from beverage sales at the restaurant’s recent fourth anniversary celebration.

The school will utilize the donation for its upcoming Hawaiian hale project.

When this traditional Hawaiian hale is completed, it will serve as a space for students, teachers and the community to meet.

“We were really excited to continue our partnership with and support of this great school,” said Duke’s Beach House General Manager Shaughn Helliar.

“We know that this monetary donation through our Legacy of Aloha program will be put to good use right here in our community.”

Duke’s Tasting Menu is a three-course menu that includes a pupu, entree and dessert for just $25.95 per person. It is offered nightly up until seating at 5:30 p.m.
