DCCA to hold hearings for Oceanic Time Warner application
LAHAINA – The state Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) will hold public hearings on the consolidated application for renewal for the Maui County and Lahaina cable television franchises submitted by Oceanic Time Warner Cable LLC.
The Maui public hearings will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 4:30 p.m. at the West Maui Senior Center at 788 Pauoa St. in Lahaina, and Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 5:30 p.m. at Maui Waena Intermediate School at 795 Onehee Avenue in Kahului.
The purpose of the public hearings is give interested persons the opportunity to submit oral or written data, views or arguments on Oceanic’s application.
Interested persons are encouraged to review the application prior to the public hearings. A copy is available for review during normal business hours at Oceanic Time Warner Cable at 910 Honoapiilani Highway, Suite 6, in Lahaina.

All interested persons will be afforded the opportunity to submit their oral or written comments at the public hearings.
Whether testimony is presented orally or not, testifiers are encouraged to put their comments in writing and submit them to CATV by e-mail to cabletv@dcca.hawaii.gov, fax to (808) 586-2625, or by mail to Cable Television Division, Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, P.O. Box 541, Honolulu, HI 96809.
All written comments should be submitted to DCCA by Friday, Nov. 15, at 4:30 p.m.
