Atlantis Adventures celebrates 25 years

In the last 25 years, Atlantis Adventures has carried more than 7.8 million guests on over 225,000 undersea tours at its three submarine dive sites.
LAHAINA – Atlantis Adventures is celebrating its 25th anniversary of showcasing the spectacular sights of Hawaii’s marine world and promoting the importance of ocean conservation – a message shared with guests on all tours.
It was in August 1988 when Atlantis Submarines initiated its Hawaii tour operations by descending into the ocean depths outside Kailua-Kona on Hawaii Island.
In the 25 years since, Atlantis has carried more than 7.8 million guests on over 225,000 undersea tours (as of June 30, 2013) combined at its three submarine dive sites off Waikiki Beach, Lahaina and Kailua-Kona.
“Our commitment to our guests and the environment are our highest priorities. The ocean is Hawaii’s greatest natural asset, and we are proud to offer a unique way to see this magnificent undersea world… doing it in a way that’s eco-friendly and respectful of the environment,” said Ron Williams, president and CEO of Atlantis Adventures.
“We want to thank all of those who have made it possible for 25 years of diving with Atlantis Submarines.”
In celebration of its 25th anniversary, Atlantis Adventures is offering a kama’aina family special during the month of September.
Adults can enjoy the submarine tour experience at any of Atlantis’s three dive sites in Hawaii for the special rate of $25, with an accompanying child being able to ride for free. For reservations, visit www.AtlantisAdventures.com or call 1-800-548-6262.
