Maui Electric to host community meetings
Maui Electric Company will host two community meetings to provide information and updates on the Maalaea to Kamalii 69kV Transmission Line Project.

Specifically, the design concept and route options for the transmission line project, as preliminarily developed by the electrical engineering consultant, will be presented to the community at these meetings.
The public is encouraged to attend and provide comments.
A South Maui meeting will be held Tuesday, Sept. 3, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Kihei Community Center.
A Central Maui meeting is set for Thursday, Sept. 5, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Pomaikai Elementary School Cafeteria at 4650 South Kamehameha Avenue in Kahului.
