KAHANA – On Friday, May 24, from 6 p.m. to midnight, Maui Brewing Company in Kahana Gateway will donate half of all proceeds of local craft beer purchased to Aina Haumana.

Aina Haumana (Students of the Land) is a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit sustainable farming education program. Educators and directors will be present to answer questions as well as meet and greet interested parents about enrollment.

Aina Haumana Director Dave Horsman said, “We are involved in a global movement to teach our children to live sustainably and the importance of growing our own food.”

Manu Akana, lead educator, added, “It is our responsibility as stewards of the land to pass on the knowledge of our ancestors to keep it alive.”
