KAANAPALI – As part of its Legacy of Aloha program, Duke’s Beach House recently donated just over $2,000 to Autism Bridges Maui, a local nonprofit that provides support to families with children who have autism.

Funds for this Legacy of Aloha donation were raised through the restaurant’s nightly Duke’s Tasting Menu from January through March 2013.

“We’re so pleased to be able to support Autism Bridges Maui through our Legacy of Aloha program, which supports local organizations through specially created menus, events and employee donations,” said Duke’s Beach House Assistant General Manager Noah Yamada.

“This organization is of particular interest to us, as one of our home office employees is closely involved with it.”

Duke’s Tasting Menu is offered nightly from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. in the main dining room. The three-course menu includes a pupu, entree and dessert for just $25.95 per person.
