KAANAPALI – The Kaanapali Beach Hotel last week announced that Juliet DeGuzman Calpo has joined the company as associate director of sales to further develop sales efforts in various markets.

She has worked in the hospitality industry since 1997, most recently as director of sales and marketing at Mana Kai Maui and Condominium Rentals Hawaii.

Calpo commented, “I have gained extensive sales and marketing experience and knowledge from being in the industry this long, especially as travel has changed in so many ways. I am looking forward to this new endeavor at Kaanapali Beach Hotel and look forward to working within the sales team.”

Also joining the sales and marketing team are Cathy Nohara as sales assistant and Koy Collier as marketing assistant.

Nohara brings a strong accounting background within the hospitality industry, including working for 16 years at the Kapalua Bay Hotel.

“I am very excited to be part of the sales team at Kaanapali Beach Hotel. I believe my accounting background will be advantageous to the department,” said Nohara.

Collier has worked in various capacities at Kaanapali Beach Hotel since 2010. She rejoins the hotel full-time from Expedia Local Expert, where she served as concierge.
