NAPILI – Iron Imu BBQ has opened a restaurant tucked inside the lobby of the Outrigger Napili Shores Resort.

Residents and visitors who have hunted down their trailers for Southern-style barbecue can now find it seven nights a week from 5 to 9 p.m.

Owners Rob and Kristin Wheeler have created a cozy atmosphere that includes a keiki play room.

The menu includes smoked brisket, ribs, chicken, pulled pork and down home sides like Grandpa Ford’s macaroni and cheese and corn casserole.
