LAHAINA – UFO Parasail Maui recently delivered a check for $860 to the Maui Food Bank.

The donation came from funds raised during the inaugural Kaanapali Fresh event held Aug. 31 to Sept. 2.

UFO made a $10 donation for each person who mentioned Kaanapali Fresh when making reservations during the three days of the event.

“We were really pleased with the support we got from the attendees for the Maui Food Bank,” said Greg VanderLaan, president of UFO Parasail.

“Mahalo to UFO Parasail Hawaii for the donation to the Maui Food Bank. Our mission is to help the hungry in Maui

County by collecting and distributing food through community partnerships such as these,” said Richard Yust, executive director of the Maui Food Bank.

UFO Parasail has been in business on Maui since 1985 and in Kona since 1992.
