LAHAINA – Cilantro Mexican Grill and Pizza Paradiso last week announced the appointment of Paul “Buff” Weaver as director of operations effective Aug. 16.

A longtime West Maui restaurateur and general manager, Weaver will oversee cost control, training, organizational development, human resources and overall day-to-day operations for Cilantro Mexican Grill in Lahaina and Pizza Paradiso in Honokowai.

“We are thrilled to have Buff join the team and help take our operations to the next level. His depth of experience across all food and beverage arenas and his successful history in the Maui restaurant market make him the perfect person to direct our growth and development,” said owner Paris Nabavi.

Weaver worked at TS Restaurants from 1984 to 2009, as well as Cheeseburger in Paradise and Teddy’s Bigger Burgers.
