KAANAPALI – The Maui Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Installation Luncheon is set for Friday, June 29, at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa in Kaanapali.

The chamber will induct its new leaders and celebrate its accomplishments this past year.

The keynote address will be delivered by Rick Blangiardi, general manager of KGMB9 and KHNL (NBC Affiliate).

Blangiardi has been an executive in the television industry for over 34 years, succeeding in senior executive positions in many of the nation’s most competitive markets.

Prior to returning to Hawaii, Blangiardi was president of Telemundo Holdings Inc., helping to turn around the company’s 11 owned and operated stations throughout major markets in the United States and Puerto Rico. He helped lead the sale of Telemundo in 2001 to NBC for $2.7 billion, the largest deal in NBC’s history by a factor of four.

Before his career in television, Blangiardi was also head coach and defensive coordinator for the University of Hawaii football team.

He will engage and inspire business leaders with “Some Thoughts On Leading Believing And Getting the Job Done.”

The cost of the lunch is $45 for chamber members and $60 for guests of chamber members. Visit www.maui-chamber.com to register.
