WAILUKU – Maui Fire Department last week announced the promotions of three firefighters. Patrick Fukuda, Gavin Fujioka and Kaleo Kealoha were promoted to Firefighter III.

Fukuda is a ten-year veteran with three years served at the Hana Fire Station and seven years at the Paia Fire Station. He is currently assigned to the Health and Safety Bureau.

Fujioka is a seven-year veteran, spending most of his career at the Paia Fire Station (except for two months spent at the Hoolehua Fire Station). He is currently assigned to the Fire Prevention Bureau.

Kealoha is a ten-year veteran with nine years served at the Wailea Fire Station and one year as a Firefighter II at the Kahului Fire Station. He was assigned to the Hoolehua Fire Station.
