WAILUKU – The Maui County Department of Finance will hold a real property tax sale auction on Tuesday, May 22, at Kihei Community Center.

The auction will continue on Wednesday, May 23, if necessary.

Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. with opening remarks at 9 a.m. The auction will begin at 9:30 a.m.

Properties being sold have been delinquent for three or more years and have received a final notice of tax sale.

As of April 30, 11 properties were scheduled to be sold at auction. Properties will be removed from the tax sale list if all taxes, penalties, interest and costs have been paid in full prior to the date of the sale.
