MEO to hold business planning classes

By Staff | Oct 27, 2011

Richard Yust, Maui Food Bank executive director, accepts a $2,000 donation from Tina Skjerseth, office manager for UFO Parasail. The money was raised during UFO’s “One-Day-Only Labor Day Kama‘aina” promotion. Maui residents came out for this great cause and had fun. “We’ve been thrilled by the turnouts we’ve had for these monthly kama‘aina promotions,” said UFO Parasail owner Greg VanderLaan.

WAILUKU – MEO Business Development Corp. will hold a series of nighttime classes for entrepreneurs.

These Core Four Business Planning Classes cover how to write a business plan and everything you need to know to start, fix and grow your business.

Students will be able to present their business ideas and plans to lenders on Banker’s Night/Graduation on Dec. 15.

New this year is the addition of one-on-one free credit counseling with BDC staff.

Two free introductory classes will be held on Nov. 1 and 3 from 6 to 7 p.m. at MEO’s Family Center at 99 Mahalani St. For more information, call 249-2990.
