KAANAPALI — Three T S Restaurants on Maui — Duke’s Beach House, Hula Grill Kaanapali and Leilani’s on the Beach — are teaming up with the Hyatt Regency Maui to host the second annual Kaanapali Beach Cleanup on Earth Day, April 22.
Volunteers are welcome to join the project from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Bring a refillable water bottle and sun protection; all beach cleanup supplies will be provided.
“The Kaanapali Beach Cleanup is a fun way for the local community to join us in our mission to improve the beauty of Kaanapali Beach and also to help protect the health and safety of marine life on and offshore,” said Leilani’s General Manager Jason Donez.
“Our Maui restaurants have beautiful beachfront locations, and we want to make sure we do our part in keeping them pristine.”
Volunteers are invited to participate in a Fun Day Picnic shortly following the beach cleanup. Food and beverages will be provided to volunteers, and there will be fun giveaways by local businesses.
The cleanup will begin on the beach in front of Hula Grill Kaanapali in Whalers Village.
