Maui Chamber of Commerce seeks new members

KAHULUI — The Maui Chamber of Commerce launched a special open enrollment period that ends at 5 p.m. on April 29.
Any business that joins the Maui Chamber of Commerce during this period will receive a waiver of the $30 initiation fee; complimentary write-up with photograph in “The Chamber View” in The Maui News; a free pass to the next Business After Hours mixer, escorted by a chamber ambassador who will introduce the new member to other businesspeople; a welcome message and referral link on the chamber’s Facebook page; a welcome to Maui Chamber tweet on Twitter; complimentary continental breakfast at the next new members social; one free website ad on the Maui Chamber’s new members page for six months and other benefits that all chamber members receive.
“The chamber plays a major role in our Maui community,” said Lynn Araki-Regan, membership chair for the chamber.
“It provides leadership, serving as a source of guidance in meeting the challenges of the future, as well as legislative advocacy, special business discounts and priceless networking and education opportunities.”

In related news, the chamber’s Annual Lunch with Mayor Alan Arakawa will be held Wednesday, March 30, at the King Kamehameha Golf Course’s Waikapu Ballroom.
There will be time at the end of the program for questions on the mayor’s proposed budget and other topics.
