Expand career options through college
KIHEI — “Expand Your Career Options — Earn a College Degree on Maui,” a free presentation for adults, will be offered at Kihei Public Library on Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 6 p.m. in the Children’s Room.
Maui residents are invited to learn how to expand their career options and increase their earning potential from staff members of the University of Hawaii Center, Maui.
Information on a variety of bachelor’s and master’s degrees and certification programs will be presented.
Nearly 1,000 Maui residents have already taken advantage of these programs and earned their degrees while continuing to live in Maui County.
The University of Hawaii Center, Maui offers select programs that are available at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, West Oahu, and Hilo campuses.
Almost all courses are taught online via the Internet, making it convenient for both business professionals and students with families, because the coursework is accessible 24/7.
Contact the library as soon as possible if a sign language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed.
