LAHAINA — The Pacific Cancer Foundation on Maui recently received a donation of $1,605.44 by the Hard Rock Cafe in Lahaina, said Jill Holley, the restaurant’s sales and marketing manager.

The funds, which will be used to assist cancer patients in Maui, were raised during Hard Rock’s “Pinktober” fund-raiser during October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness month.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Hard Rock Cafe in Lahaina,” said Jeff Scharnhorst, executive director of the Pacific Cancer Foundation.

“They are truly a partner in our community in helping our Maui ‘ohana in their fight against cancer.”
